Guidance for Owners/Vendors
- It is the responsiblity of the Owner/Vendor of a Lot that any vice or unusual behaviour is noted and advised to the main office prior to the Lot going through the Sale and to ensure that it is announced from the auctioneers rostrum. In a legal dispute the Entry Form is regarded as a legal document.
- It is in your own interest that you present your animals to the best of your ability
- If the breeding of a Lot is recorded in sales documentation for public viewing but not recorded in the passport, then you should notify the office immediately
- A Pass-out must be obtained from the main office before removing the animals from Hanley Sales.
- Where a horse is unsold in the sales ring and a purchaser agrees a price with the seller with or without the assistance of Hanley Sales, this transaction must be notified to the main office. Any buyer who purchases an animal that is not transacted through Hanley Sales will be barred from participating in all future sales.
